PipelineSteady provides front-office and secure document software to licensed loan officers and mortgage brokers ("your loan team"). We are not a lender and we do not make credit decisions. This notice explains how nonpublic personal information ("NPI") is handled when you use the application, document portal, or scheduling tools your loan team provides through our platform.
Your financial information is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in a separate, access-controlled data environment, and reachable only by your loan team and the people they explicitly authorize. Every access to your documents is written to an immutable audit log. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its Safeguards Rule.
We use your information only to provide the service to you and your loan team. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: your loan team; service providers who process it under contract and confidentiality obligations on our behalf; and as required by law. Where you consent to features such as importing your address or employment history, information is retrieved from the provider you authorize and treated as NPI.
Our public marketing pages (such as the homepage and checkout) use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, buttons clicked, and general location and device information. These analytics use cookies and never include your name, contact details, financial information, or anything from your loan file. Borrower pages, portals, and dashboards do not carry analytics. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site works the same.
If you opt in to text messages, you may receive updates about your loan at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
If you choose to do business electronically, you agree to receive disclosures and records electronically. Your consent and the timestamp are retained as part of your record. You may request paper copies from your loan team.
You may ask your loan team to access, correct, or delete the information associated with your file, and you may withdraw text-message consent at any time. To exercise these choices, contact your loan team or email privacy@pipelinesteady.com.
